This is my 7th year teaching with GSACRD having taught Early Education and grade 1 I have been lucky enough to be apart of the GSACRD family since I was a student in kindergarten attending Albert Lacombe, VJ Maloney and St. Albert High.
After graduating high school, I enrolled in the Culinary Arts program at NAIT. I completed the program and an apprenticeship in the Cook trade. I love to cook and love to try new foods even more. NAIT taught me a lot about the importance of hands on experience and stepping outside of your comfort zone in learning, things I try to incorporate in the classroom.
While the culinary industry is certainly an interesting one, my passion has always been for learning and education. I completed my Bachelors of Education at the University of Alberta and have not looked back since. I am a lifelong learner and look forward to taking more classes and courses to further my understanding of education. When I am not at school, I am usually doing something nerdy like reading a book or playing board games with my wonderfully supportive (and newly named) fiancé, Josh.
